Although this has nothing to do with the shirt in the photo... yet it reminds me of my current situation....
Most people I am considered lucky for being independent all the years... staying alone....
Yet... we normally are not aware of what we have until we lose them...
A branded shirt, once worn and washed needs ironing .. before we can wear them again so that ppl can admire...
Same like relationships, once developed, fostered, needs care and tolerence before we can enjoy its fruits.
Christmas is near, it is a time for sharing..
Sharing ? would u share ? really share what that is precious to you with someone else? One may usually want to give away their old clothes to charitable homes.. so that they could go out shopping for new ones...
All of us are hyprocrites, we want new fashionable and branded shirts to wear when there is a festive season or social gathering, to reflect our current life style. Yet what happened to the shirt that still fits, not torn but at onetime was our favourites. Perhaps it is society and mass media that dwells into the concept of status symbol, popular icons.. where is the intrinsic value ?
The saying, if you cant take it then.... to me there is no losing or winning in whatever way.. no Donald Trump's You are fired sort of satire.. the only thing is that once we have lost it .. we wont get it back...
You drop a fifty sen coin, you changed your ringgit, get two brand new fifty sen coins.. although its value is still fifty sen x 2... what about inflation rate???
enough of the rambling.. yes i am heading towards a myriad of thoughts .......... lots of things on my mind.. when will all these end..
Just received an email from one of those kiasu education providers encouring enrollment.. come on... the key word.. "Innovation doesn't have to be taxing" .. well education is no longer free of for the brainy ones, in fact it is business oriented.. big money for kiasu people..
